Welcome to Sunset Beach! Looking for an island bungalow with tons of charm and personality for your getaway? Look no further. This newly updated vacation rental is perfect for a laid-back getaway. Sunset Beach is just a three-minute walk over to the Gulf Beaches and a private heated pool.

EXTERIOR

There is a private heated pool and spacious sundeck calling your name. Surrounded by lush tropical landscaping with plenty of furniture, you will feel like you are staying in a private oasis. Rinse off the pool water or sand from the beach with the outdoor shower. In addition, there is a one-car garage stocked with plenty of beach amenities for your enjoyment.

The pool heat is $150.00 a week. Pool heaters in private homes are locked for your safety and controls must not be tampered with as they are monitored by the pool company. 86° F is the highest heat temperature setting which might not be always reached. Please note if cold days and nights occur, water temperatures will drop and may stay cooler longer. Pool heaters will not operate and will automatically shut down if outside temperatures get too cold. While we take every precaution to ensure that pools are heated as specified, weather conditions may affect the temperature of the pool. Nothing can be done about this issue. Outdoor spas are not hot tubs and require heat at the additional cost. The temperature of a spa is typically set at the same temperature as the pool. In the event of pool equipment malfunction during your stay, Duncan Real Estate will expedite repairs as quickly as possible. It may be necessary to close swimming pools for maintenance purposes. No refund or rent adjustment will be made for circumstances beyond our control, malfunctions, or loss of use of equipment or amenities.

There is a garage and off street parking at the property for two cars.

Sunset Beach is a pet friendly property for dogs up to 50 lbs and above. The non-refundable pet fee is $150.00 per pet and will be charged for each week. The pet fee does not cover any damage caused by the pet.

Please keep in mind that you are vacationing in a residential area. Please be a good neighbor by keeping the noise to a respectful level during the day and night. Excessive and unreasonable noise can deprive neighbors of the peaceful enjoyment of their private property.

"We had the most relaxing stay at Sunset. The home had a beachy, yet cozy vibe. The kitchen was well stocked, the bathrooms were clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The walk to the beach was easy with very little traffic. We loved the private front porch for drinking our morning coffee, but our favorite spot was the pool. It was the perfect place to do our daily workout, but also to just relax and float. We can’t wait to come back and enjoy this space again soon. Also this is a pet-friendly home, yet we didn’t notice any odors or pet hair on the floors or furniture. Duncan is located on the island and they are very accommodating to the needs of their guests. Exceptional service. We look forward to booking with them in the future.

Very nice place to stay!

"Very nice place to stay! for our family of 4 + our furry one! Only a few blocks from the beach and the free public trolley stop. Convenient keyless entry. Nicely decorated, very clean and with a well equipped kitchen (cooking utensils, pots and pans, even Tupperware style containers) for any cooking you want to do, though you'll need to buy the basics (like salt, oil for cooking...). The unit looks like the pictures (master bedroom is upstairs)The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms were nice and clean, showers had great water pressure (shower in master bathroom is beautiful). The yard/pool area was private and nice to hang out, even though the weather was a bit chilly so even with the heated pool it was a bit cold. There is a gas grill for cooking outside, and lots of beach gear to use, including beach towels. The unit has a washer and dryer, which were nice to have. Duncan rentals were responsive and we were very happy with our stay and would recommend this rental to others

"This place is great for an easy walk to the beach! We went daily and didn’t feel like we had to stay all day because it was so close to the house. We went daily and then came home and relaxed every evening in the pool. It was a great house for four adults. The house itself was great and provided everything we needed.

2 blocks from the beach!

"This place was exactly as it was described. The pool was private which was something we wanted. You are two blocks from the beach, so we went every day even just for a few hours. The master bedroom is on the second floor which was nice and has a nice king bed. The place stayed cool which was a worry of mine being 7 months pregnant. We rented bikes at Beach Bums and rode them everywhere as you are pretty centralized in this location. You could walk to get coffee or breakfast but it’s about 3/4 mile to get to some of the action on the island. We had never been to AMI so just lucked out picking this spot and feel super lucky it all worked out.

Couldn’t ask for better accommodations!

"My wife and I have stayed at Sunset Beach many times with our golden retriever, Macy. Couldn’t ask for better accommodations. Close to the beach, private & secluded heated pool, tiled floors, washer/dryer, porch, garage, yard, and of course Wi-Fi, multiple tv’s, and cable. This is an incredible getaway property for couples and families alike, with or without pets. Can’t wait to go back!

"We have enjoyed staying at Sunset Beach many times over past 7 years. Great location and wonderful amenities. Short walk to the beach, very clean, well equipped kitchen, and great living space to relax in. Outdoor space is delightful, very nice pool area - great privacy, lovely front porch area and plenty of seating to relax with morning coffee or afternoon cocktail. Loved our stays and will definitely look forward to returning.

Loved this duplex!

"Loved this duplex! It was exactly as pictured and was located close to the beach. The pool area was very nice with a lot of tropical plants, nice loungers and table/chairs. The layout of the unit is ideal with the larger bedroom upstairs and the twin bedroom downstairs. We found the unit to be clean and well stocked with towels on arrival. The front porch was awesome as well!

"We were delighted with this awesome duplex when we arrived - clean, great accommodations, plenty of towels, comfortable beds and nice sheets. This was a great location, very easy, short walk to an absolutely gorgeous beach, and the private pool was delightful, great place to chill in the afternoon if we wanted to escape hot sun.
