The fully equipped kitchen has all the appliances you need to prepare a quick snack for the family or a romantic dinner for two, which you can enjoy either in the dining room or on patio by the pool. The living room invites you to relax, kick-back and enjoy your favorite shows on the flat screened smart TV.

EXTERIOR

The backyard at Lazy Pelican is the perfect tropical oasis. From relaxing in the newly added heated pool and spa to sunbathing on the sun shelf, this property has everything you could need during your beach vacation. After a long day at the beach, cook out on the grill and hang out on the large sectional outdoor sofa.

The pool heat is $150.00 a week. Pool heaters in private homes are locked for your safety and controls must not be tampered with as they are monitored by the pool company. 86° F is the highest heat temperature setting which might not be always reached. Please note if cold days and nights occur, water temperatures will drop and may stay cooler longer. Pool heaters will not operate and will automatically shut down if outside temperatures get too cold. While we take every precaution to ensure that pools are heated as specified, weather conditions may affect the temperature of the pool. Nothing can be done about this issue. Outdoor spas are not hot tubs and require heat at the additional cost. The temperature of a spa is typically set at the same temperature as the pool. In the event of pool equipment malfunction during your stay, Duncan Real Estate will expedite repairs as quickly as possible. It may be necessary to close swimming pools for maintenance purposes. No refund or rent adjustment will be made for circumstances beyond our control, malfunctions, or loss of use of equipment or amenities.

Lazy Pelican is a pet friendly property for dogs up to 50 lbs. The non-refundable pet fee is $150.00 per pet with a maximum of 2. Short stays are not pro-rated. The pet fee does not cover any damage caused by the pet.

There are two parking spaces in the driveway of Lazy Pelican.

This property welcomes weekly rentals from Saturday to Saturday. Please inquire for any other dates.

Please keep in mind that you are vacationing in a residential area. Please be a good neighbor by keeping the noise to a respectful level during the day and night. Excessive and unreasonable noise can deprive neighbors of the peaceful enjoyment of their private property.

Best location and pool!

"We loved our stay at the Lazy Pelican! It was the perfect location on the island. Close to tons of shopping and good eats! Beach was a 5 min walk. The pool is amazing!! We can’t wait to stay here again next year!!!

Great Spring Break Getaway close to everything!

"We loved this adorable property for our party of six. It was much bigger than expected with two family rooms. The kids loved the beautifully landscaped pool and the rec room was a big hit! Communication with the property manager was wonderful too! We will definitely stay at the Lazy Pelican again!

Amazing stay in this beautiful property!

"Check-in was very easy and we were contacted by e-mail, text, and phone if we had any questions. The property was very clean and there were many extra items provided like paper towel, toilet paper, bath and beach towels, beach wagon, sand toys, dishwasher pods and soap, and laundry soap. We absolutely loved the pool at The Lazy Pelican. This is probably where we spent most of our vacation. Also, it was only a 10 minute walk to the beach. We definitely would stay here again!

"I wish I could give 10 stars to the Lazy Pelican! The home was exactly as described and so clean and comfortable. We don't cook while on vacation but the kitchen looked to be very well stocked for those that do. My husband appreciated the little work space as he needed to attend a couple of Zoom meetings while we were there. It was nice to have a washer and dryer in the home to keep things fresh. The location of the house was great: 5 to 7 minute walk to the beach and convenient access to several restaurants. The northbound trolley stop is just out front. The pool area is beyond beautiful. We swam in the pool almost every day, sometimes to wake up and sometimes to relax before bed. Finally, communication with Duncan was very good. Since we were due to arrive shortly after Hurricane Ian, we needed some assurance that the island was ready for visitors before we began our 25-hour drive. We also called twice during our stay and the phone was picked up immediately. My husband and I would highly recommend Duncan Real Estate and the Lazy Pelican.
