Welcome to Heliconia House! This remodeled and furnished two bedroom and two bathroom duplex has its own private heated pool. A short stroll to the Holmes Beach shopping and restaurant area, tennis courts, boat ramp, pickleball courts and dog park just around the corner. Guests will enjoy a well-equipped kitchen perfect for preparing a gourmet meal or cook outdoors on the gas grill. The living area is spacious, with plenty of seating for family and friends to take in a movie on the flat panel HDTV. There is a breakfast island with seating for 4. The master bedroom has a King size bed and flat screen TV and ensuite bathroom with walk-in shower. The guest room has a Queen size bed, a flat screen TV and ensuite bathroom with shower/tub. Washer and dryer are available in the property. Heliconia House accommodates up to four people.

EXTERIOR

Relax in pool after a day at the beach. Enjoy outdoor dining with a large dining setting under a covered patio area and use the gas grill to fire up a great dinner.
The pool heat is $100.00 a week. Pool heaters in private homes are locked for your safety and controls must not be tampered with as they are monitored by the pool company. 86° F is the highest heat temperature setting which might not be always reached. Please note if cold days and nights occur, water temperatures will drop and may stay cooler longer. Pool heaters will not operate and will automatically shut down if outside temperatures get too cold. While we take every precaution to ensure that pools are heated as specified, weather conditions may affect the temperature of the pool. Nothing can be done about this issue. In the event of pool equipment malfunction during your stay, Duncan Real Estate will expedite repairs as quickly as possible. It may be necessary to close swimming pools for maintenance purposes. No refund or rent adjustment will be made for circumstances beyond our control, malfunctions, or loss of use of equipment or amenities.

Also enjoy the common park area behind Heliconia House there is access through the gate at the rear of the pool.

There are two parking spaces reserved for the guests of this property.

Please keep in mind that you are vacationing in a residential area. Please be a good neighbor by keeping the noise to a respectful level during the day and night. Excessive and unreasonable noise can deprive neighbors of the peaceful enjoyment of their private property.

Privacy we had while we were in the pool was nice!

"The house was very well equipped and Duncan allowed us to stay with our service dogs. Everything you needed while you were staying at the house was there and that was really nice. The pool was very clean and the privacy we had while we were in the pool was nice. He was very accommodating with items I left behind and was willing to mail them back to me. And any question we had was answered in a friendly and prompt manner. Overall, a very enjoyable stay and I highly recommend this house if you’re looking to stay in Holmes Beach. And you’re really close to the local beach as well as a bunch of local restaurants.

Perfect little pool in the back!

"My husband and our 2 year old son stayed for the week. This property came equipped with all the amenities you could need. Tucked back in a quiet little neighborhood with easy access to anywhere you need to go on the island. Short walk to the beach or drive to wherever. Perfect little pool in the back for relaxing after a day at the beach. House couldn't have been cleaner when we arrived either. Definitely would stay at this place again. Thanks for a great trip!

Lovely Island home!

"My husband and I spent over a month at this lovely island home. Our kingsized bed was super comfy --sufficiently firm mattress with pillowtop. Kitchen was surprisingly well supplied with ample (and very high quality) cookware, even a crockpot! We appreciated and enjoyed the charcoal barbecue (large, green egg style). The pool area has ample shaded space and luscious landscaping. The TV gets many channels and we enjoyed On Demand free movies. We also got DVDs from the library. But most of all, we appreciated the fresh-feeling cleanliness that greeted us the moment we entered. This was truly a relaxing and exceptional experience (we have been coming to the island for years). The host is thoughtful and easy to communicate with. We hope to return, as this was the best stay on AMI that we've ever had!
